This guide is for salons, spas, clinics and pharmacies thinking about stocking Dr.SANTE. It covers the Azulene Soother line, the signature range, and how to talk about it in a way that stays within New Zealand cosmetic rules.

Everything below is a cosmetic product. None is a medicine or a device, and none should be described to a client as a remedy for any skin condition.

The idea behind the line

Azulene Soother replaces plain water with chamomile flower water and takes its blue colour from natural azulene. It is aimed at skin that feels dry, hot or easily upset. In Korea the range is used in professional skin-care salons.

A typical service flow

After a facial or other salon service, a simple sequence is cleanser, toner, gel or ampoule, then cream. Sheet masks and the cream mask fit before or after, depending on the service. The how-to-use notes for each product are in the product knowledge sheets we provide to stockists.

What you can say to clients

  • “Helps skin feel calm and comfortable.”
  • ”Supports the look of hydration.”
  • ”Made with chamomile flower water.”
  • ”A natural blue colour from azulene.”

What not to say

  • Do not describe a product as a remedy for, or a repair of, a skin condition.
  • Do not compare it to a medicine or another brand.
  • Do not make sun-protection claims for any product on this site.
  • Do not describe Dr.SANTE as proven or doctor recommended unless you hold the documents that say so.

Chamomile is in the daisy family. Ask clients about allergies to daisies, chrysanthemums, mugwort and ragweed before use.

Professional-only products

Some items in SANTE’s wider range, such as professional devices, are for qualified professionals only. They are not part of the standard New Zealand stockist range, and we will provide specific guidance if that changes. If you would like to know more, apply through the Professional partners page.

Why chamomile water instead of water

Most creams start with plain water. The Azulene Soother line starts with chamomile flower water, and that choice shapes everything else.
