Products

What is the Azulene Soother line?

It is the signature Dr.SANTE line, made with chamomile flower water in place of plain water and coloured naturally blue by azulene. It is made for skin that feels dry, hot or easily upset. The range includes a cleanser, toner, gel, ampoule, cream, lotion and masks.

Which product should I start with?

For a light, cooling feel, many people start with the Azulene Soother Gel. For skin that feels tight in cold weather, the Azulene Soother Cream is the richer choice. For an oily, blemish-prone skin type, look at the Artemisia Aka line.

Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?

Dr.SANTE products are made for skin that feels dry or easily upset, but every skin is different. Try a small amount on one area first, and stop using a product if your skin reacts. If you have a skin condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.

Can I use the Azulene Soother and Artemisia Aka lines together?

Yes. Many people use a blue Azulene Soother product on dry areas and a green Artemisia Aka product on oilier areas. Introduce one new product at a time so you can see what suits your skin.

Why is the gel blue?

The blue comes from azulene, a natural pigment released when chamomile is distilled at a high temperature. It is not an added dye. Because it is natural, the colour can shift slightly with temperature and time.

I am allergic to daisies or ragweed. Can I use the products?

Chamomile is in the daisy family, along with chrysanthemums, mugwort and ragweed. If you have a known allergy to any of these, ask your doctor or pharmacist before using chamomile or artemisia products.

Where can I read the full ingredient list?

The full ingredient list is printed on each pack. We are also confirming complete lists with SANTE and will add them to each product page. Always check the pack before use if you have allergies.

Are the products made in Korea?

Yes. Dr.SANTE is made by SANTE Cosmetics, a company founded in 2003 and based in Busan, Korea. The company plans, develops and manufactures its own products.

How should I store the products?

Keep them in a cool place away from direct sunlight, with the lid closed. Natural pigments such as azulene can shift in colour with warmth, so avoid leaving jars in a hot car.

How long do the products last once opened?

Look for the open-jar symbol on the pack. The number beside it, such as 12M, is the number of months the product is best used within after opening. Write the opening date on the jar when you start.

Why has my Azulene Soother product changed colour?

Because the series takes its colour from natural azulene, the shade can change with temperature, time and storage. It does not on its own mean the product has gone off. If the smell or texture has changed, stop using the product and contact us in writing.
